Yankee Girl

ReelArt Studios has obtained the rights to produce another Girl Art statue based on one of AC Comics' incredibly large cast of foxy costumed super heroines. AC Comics is the last comic book publisher in existence that specializes in producing Good Girl Art in the classic vein made so popular in the Golden-Age with strips such as Matt Baker's Phantom Lady. This piece, based on the revived Golden-Age character known as Yankee Girl, is our second such, following immediately upon the heels of The Blue Bulleteer. The artwork reproduced below represents the original pose the statue will be based on and an edited version of the same drawing with the facial expression to be used with the statue. The art was drawn by AC Comics owner/publisher and Editor-In-Chief Bill Black with inking chores handled by his Associate Editor and 2nd in command Mark G Heike. The third picture is the reproduction of a cover of AC's Good Girl Art Quarterly which featured Yankee Girl and is included so that you may be able to see her color scheme. The sculpting chores will be done by Joy Snyder. Yankee Girl will be sitting atop a round art deco base with her cape overhanging the edges. This item will be strictly limited.
